Chocolate Kiwi Crêpes

Ingredients

for 4 people

  • 2 eggs
  • 300 ml of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 170g '00' flour
  • 1 knob of butter
  • 2 green Jingold kiwis
  • 250g dark chocolate
  • 50 ml double cream

Preparation

In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk and a pinch of salt. Add the flour using a sieve to avoid lumps. Once you have a smooth, velvety batter, let it rest in a cool place. Meanwhile, peel the kiwis and slice them thinly. Break up and melt the chocolate in a small saucepan with the fresh cream, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy, then let it cool at room temperature. Now, heat a crepe pan or a non-stick frying pan greased with a little butter. When hot, pour in the batter a ladleful at a time, taking care to create round discs, and cook over a low heat on both sides. Once golden, place the crepes on plates, arrange the kiwi slices on one-third of the disc, and roll into a cone shape. Gently pour the chocolate sauce over your creations, decorate as desired, and Enjoy your meal!
