Spring body scrub

Preparing our skin, making it event softer and more radiant before the arrival of warmer weather, is fundamental!

If we are looking to achieve the perfect tan this summer, it is important to play ahead and pamper our skin that little bit more! A homemade scrub is the perfect ally to free your skin from dead cells, purify it, make it softer and smoother than ever before.

It gently exfoliates the skin’s surface, regenerating it, eliminating dead cells, favouring oxygenation and the creation of a new layer of skin.

Treat yourself to this beauty ritual under the shower, massage the scrub all over your body. Rinse and you’ll immediately feel how smooth your skin is, a veritable rebirth. The massaging action will relax you and favour microcirculation.

The secret to the body scrub you’re about to learn how to prepare lies in the properties of its ingredients:

Kiwi. Perhaps not everyone knows that kiwi contains collagen: this element is used in many anti-age creams as it stimulates cell regeneration.
Olive oil. In this scrub, olive oil is fundamental because it contains vitamins A and E which fight imperfections and guarantee soft skin.
Coarse salt. Coarse salt has excellent purifying and anti- inflammatory properties.
Lemon juice. This ingredient is essential, thanks to its antiseptic and astringent properties.

INGREDIENTS
4 kiwis
1 spoonful of olive oil
a spoonful of coarse salt
half a small cup of lemon.

METHOD
Peel the kiwi and cut into pieces, then place in the blender. Blend until a creamy consistency and pour into a bowl. Add the coarse salt, the olive oil and lemon juice. Stir to thoroughly mix all the ingredients together. Now apply the scrub onto your skin, massage in a circular motion for approximately 5 minutes. As you massage, these movements favour the absorption of nourishing scrub ingredients. Lastly, rinse and apply a good moisturising cream.

You should only scrub once a week, so as not to risk drying your skin out or damaging it.

The summer countdown is on… don’t let it take you by surprise!
